Lightning Strikes Twice

They say that lightning never strikes the same place twice. People in Bali won't be thinking that today.

I woke up this morning and turned the radio on. It is nice to be able to lie there and fill my head with the latest news before getting up to attend to the duties of the day. Not great to be greeted with a story about more bombings having been conducted in Bali and at least 25 people killed and several in a critical condition.

I hope they catch the bastards responsible for this. String 'em up by their balls I say. The world can do without this sort of rubbish.

Perhaps I am more upset by this than the London bombings, as they were a little more to be expected, as it is on Australia's doorstep and has hit Bali again. Why do the Balinese deserve this? It's time to build the Jemaah Islamiah bomb - one that will kill only members of the terrorist group.

Not the Balinese, nor any other country, deserves this madness to be perpetrated upon them, especially by their own counrty men. Where does this level of hatred and insanity come from? It has me totally bewildered.

Happened, happened again, most probably will happen again. If it is hard for them bomb us here, we are helping them by going places where it is easier for them to bomb us.

I have no intention of ever going to Bali. Never wanted to before and certainly don't now. It would be more difficult for terrorists to operate in the area if the police weren't so corrupt and interested in making money on the side out of drugs and actually did the job of policing. But is that ever going to happen?
