Fremantle Arts Centre Visit

Last weekend Miky decided that we should visit the Fremantle Arts Centre, in Fremantle. Actually. On display was the Bon Scott Project. Not nearly as in-depth a study of one of this country's greatest rock 'n roll exponents, Bon Scott, but some interesting reading of personal items. His letters to a close mate and a Christmas card indicating that he'd picked up something from a fan were written in the manner you would expect from someone living their life very quickly.

We had lunch at the cafe. It was set in a nice courtyard and was pretty busy. Nice food on the menu too. Miky decided to veg out and Yu-Jin and I headed to the museum.

The museum catalogued white settlement in Fremantle, the wharfies, the mental asylum which used to be on the grounds, the American Naval forces period of occupation and a display on Johnny O'Keefe and visual artefacts.

The Bon Scott Project? Sounds interesting. I'm off to have a look at the site since I'm not likely to travel there just to visit.
